Amateurs

The amateur side of the 2018 Utah Open will take place at the new disc golf course at Fort Buenaventura, which is located just a few miles away from the Mulligan’s course (where the pros play).  All divisions will play the same layouts each day.  The amateur divisions will begin on Thursday, June 21, 2018, and end on Saturday, June 23,2018. Most players rounds will be completed in the morning so that you will have plenty of time to head over to Mulligan’s to watch the featured pro cards.

Schedule

  • Wednesday, June 20, 2018

    12:00 – 5:30 Check In/Flex Start C-Tier at Mulligan’s Creekside (Optional).
    You do not have to participate in the Utah Open to play in this C-Tier. All amateur players who register will receive an Infinite Discs of their choice and the top 40% of the field will receive Infinite Gift Card payout. Cash payout for pros. Register for the C-Tier here.
     6:00 Player Party/Media Night at the Fort

  • Thursday, June 21st

    8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Check in/Round 1 Play (A-T’s on holes with multiple tee pads).
    5:00 PM FREE Will Schusterick Clinic @Fort Buenaventura
    6:00 PM Kids Disc Golf @Toad’s Fun Zone

  • Friday – June 22nd

    8:00 AM -2:00 PM  Round 2 Play  (A-T’s)
    3:00 PM Pro feature card tees off at Mulligans

  • Saturday -June 23rd

    *8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Round 3 Play (B-T’s for those holes with a B-T pad option).
    Trophies will be awarded and payout distributed following the final round of play.
    3:00 PM Pro feature card tees off at Mulligans

*For the Saturday round, park at the upper parking lot. The main Fort area will be used by another party so disc golf parking is not permitted in the normal parking lot area.

Payout

The top 50% of each division will receive payout in Infinite Discs Gift cards. This payout will be automatically distributed as e-gift cards to your Infinite Profile at the completion of the tournament. Each player must register under their own individual Infinite Profile.  All players will also receive a player pack valued at more than $100.

Caddy Book

There is no player meeting for this event. All players are expected to read the online caddybook found here, and abide to all PDGA rules for A-Tier events. Smoking is not allowed. A Fort Buenaventura course map is found here.
